Long absence
#1
I no longer have a single horse. Miss them in a bad way so decided to start saving this coming year for a trailer then will be looking for a walker or andalusian.
Been raising angora rabbits as they do not break my legs and such. Lol
Miss everyone

Hi BethAnn - I'v heard of so many customers reluctantly giving up their horses. It seems there are cycles, a good while ago (many years) I was hearing about the middle aged person getting to a place in life where they finally can get a horse. Last several years it has been just the opposite.

Before you know it, you'll be back in. Please stay as involved as you can, everybody has a unique perspective that can be helpful to others.

YAY! Good to see you here, Beth! Sorry you are horseless though. I know how much you love your ponies and hope you'll be able to get back in the game soon.

You've got a lot of horse knowledge stuffed between your ears so be ready so share it on DE.

Hello all, I am back!

I no longer have horses either, Beth Ann, but it is for health reasons. I have AFIB and take blood thinners. Too risky to be miles out on a trail and possibly face a fatal injury.

Still live horses, though, and that will never end.

I will probably buy a pasture pet at some point in the future or possibly get into driving. When horse runs in your blood, its6hard to be out of them long.

I'm seeing a lot more people getting into driving mini's or shetlands. They tell me it is a blast.

Glad to see you two back. I'm hoping to be around more often this year too, hopefully with a few horsey tales to tell myself, since I'll be retired.
