The Dawning of a New Day!
#1
Today is a milestone in my life. From this day forward every day I do at my job will be for the last time. One year from now I will be officially retired. Woohoo!

Congrats Red Hawk! I am a little bit ahead of you... I am quitting at the end of November (spreadsheet willing!) Deb is retiring from teaching at the end of the school year, May 27.

Seems odd to be so happy at getting old!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was just thinking the other day that it's sad that you have to get old to arrive at the end of your working days and start a brand new page in your life. I certainly won't be bored, that's for sure. So many things I want to do, and most of them won't cost much at all, thank goodness.

Well, I've moved mine up. I am going out June 1st. Just 44 days to go! I figured what the heck, why waste the summer!
