#1
I think it would be great to have a "Horse Breeds" section. It would be really helpful, and people can get info about their fave breeds easier too..Just a thought...Smile

Hi Sunny. Welcome to the Forum.

Tell us bit about you and your horses. Pictures are always welcome.

We have a huge variety of Horse Breeds on the Forum so it might be tough to cover all the different breeds.

If you are interested in information or discussion on a certain breed just start a thread for that topic and I am sure the Forum Folks will join in.

"The best things in life are nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. Then do not grasp at the stars, but do life's plain, common work as it comes, certain that daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life. " Author: Robert Louis Stevenson

I would also like to add that there are tons of websites out there that are breed related if you wish to compare or check out certain breeds. Many of them have there own forums too where you can talk with people closely related to a specific breed.

Hi folks..

I raise gaited Rocky Mountain horses in western Colorado I grew up with racing Thoroughbreds and Quarter horses, but when we moved to CO in 2001, we wanted to find a breed that would be gentle, smooth and beautiful, so my husband would want to ride with me. We were happy when we found the Rockies, and haven't looked back since. I do all of the training and riding of my horses, and occasionally have horses to sell. This year, I hope to sell three more, as 13 is way too many for me to work effectively!!
