I put Rocky (Rock Paper Scissors) in the Allbreeds pedigree. It already had his sire's name so someone somewhere already entered him at some point. His dam was a PMU mare named Dixie and we don't know if she was ever a registered horse so it just lists her name, then all the sire's lineage.

Joe (Brother Joseph) was already listed in it. Joe's has a blank at Ky's Sugar Cloud but all the others go back pretty far, he has a fair amount of Arabians in his dam's lineage.

I like the pictures too, Joe had alot of leopard app's in his line and that was interesting to see.

Hmeyer you could add Cisco yourself, if his sire and dam are already in the database it will fill out all their information automatically.

ILJ, yeah I did that. His sire was there but not his dam, so I had to enter her, too. He's all fixed up now and feels much more confident in his ancestry!
You can check him out under "Twisters Go Moon".

I looked at Cisco and both he (on his Dam's side) and Rocky go back to the thoroughbred Top Deck who inevitably goes back to Man O War.
I guess that is pretty common in Quarter horse lineage?

I know very little about lineage of any breed except that some lines are known to be better than others in, for example, conformation, temperament, performance etc. Does anyone know anything about the horses in 'Skip's pedigree? I recognized the name LEO and THREE BARS several generations back.

Western horseman has great series about the great sires of AQHA horses. I have about 5 of them that I have collected over the years.

My favorite is the one discussing the AQHA Supreme Champions. Horses that excelled in Racing, Conformation (Halter) performance and working cow events.

All of our horses ( except Cruiser) have Supreme Champion Goldseeker Bars in their pedigree. But Lottie's pedigree justifies her registered name of "A Lotta Supreme" as her Sire is "Lucks Easy Fanta Boy " the only living AQHA Supreme Champion and her mother (also Hookie's Mother) is an own daughter of Goldseeker Bars.

If you can't find the books locally let me know and I will try to help.
