I am going to sell my Billy Cook roping saddle because it is just too wide for Squeaker. When I add thicker pads it just slips around more, and we need the money to buy a saddle that will fit April.
It isn't a new saddle,it's an older one but is in excellent shape. I am pretty sure the seat is a 16 inch and it has barb wire trim. It has a matching leather flank cinch. The color is a pretty red. I have used it maybe 10 times and the people I bought it from used it a lot for roping. Around the horn is scarred a little from rope marks, but that is the only defect it has.
I paid $425 for it at an auction so what should I ask for it? What is the lowest I should take?
