Im thinking of getting this beautiful big horn haflinger saddle but question the leather quality...?..
From oictures looks like a stiff leather?? Soory dont know how to attach pictues yet :( but put a link

Hi Joan - the reviews have been good on this saddle. The leather is a good quality. I wouldn't describe it as supple but more durable. Like many saddles, as it's used and oiled it will soften.

It's been a great saddle for larger horses and Haflingers.

right now a bareback pad.... I really like this model but have been seeing a lot of pics like this in classifieds...what do you think happened here with the dark stains ? is this what happens to big horn leather when u try to oil it???

That looks like normal color variation on the seat jockey and fenders from being used. It happens on a lot of saddles.

Interesting - we've added a Big Horn Cordura Haflinger Extra Wide 291 - 292. It has a short, round skirt and a nice extra wide tree for a broad back.
