try to take a picture of the same scene at about the same time each month for the next year? Sort of watch the seasons progress through the year? I've wanted to do this for a long time and tell myself I'll start it then never do.

It would have to be somewhere easy...like out the backdoor or somewhere I'd likely be so I wouldn't do a trail scene.

Whachaya'll think?

That's something I've considered doing too. I will participate, but I gotta get a new camera first. Both point & shoots have bit the dust in the last week or two. Probably gotta wait til after Christmas, since I told Santa that's what I wanted!

Count me in.

I will take a picture of the barn from the house on say the first Saturday of every month ( or close to that day).

When do you want to start.

I'll try, too.

Is there some way this website could remind us?...maybe...first of the month some message pops up?

GREAT!! It might be good to start in January...there might be more new cameras under the tree! I'll probably need help remembering too so some sort of reminder would be great. I've not played with Google's calendar much but it's probably not that hard to set up. I think you've got to use iGoogle which is pretty cool anyway but I'm sure some of the other search engines have calendars as well.

What a cool idea! I have a super old, huge oak tree behind my pond that I think is the prettiest tree. I will shoot it with the pond in the pic
