I know he isn't that pretty, LOL but don't be afraid to hurt my feelings! He has a personality that is out of this world, and I can't have everything!

I love Boots. He looks like he's got a bit of draft in him. Does he?

OMG! I can't believe you asked! lol!! My father-in-law thinks he does because he has huge feet, and carries his head so low while cantering. I really have little information on him, I do know he came from a mare that was owned my amish. I would love to find out more about him. She had him listed as a quarter pony But I think he is pushing it for height.

Thanks for responding! He is a mutt, but totally loveable!

Any other guesses on his breeding would be awesome... I don't know much about horses, all I do know is that he is good to me and my daughter. I thank god for finding him (or him finding me)

My guess is a draft/QH cross - not a Quarter pony. Many Amish around here use Standardbreds…but I can’t see him as a draft/SB cross....you never know though.

Anyway, pretty is as pretty does....and it looks like you've got a pretty good one.

He looks like he's a sweetheart. You gotta love those horses that come loaded with personality. I bet he's a qtr/draft cross. He's solid, just like my boy.

Do draft crosses come this small in height? He is only about 14.2 hh
I was kinda looking online, and I see the similarities, just seems like they are normally alittle taller...

Do they cross them with draft horses just so they can carry more, or what? I read alot, but there is still so much that I don't know about horses! LOL as soon as I know as much as I'd like about them, I will be old and go senile and forget it all anyway! Or else I will ONLY remember horses and not how to care for myself! LMAO!
