Hi

I have tried a lot of 15" saddles, but the stirrups are always to long. I am only 59 inch.
Will the stirrups at a 14" saddle be shorter?

Best regards
Ann Sophia

Yes, 15" saddles are usually made for people 5'2" or taller. A 14" saddle will have shorter fenders.

So that's why I've always had to punch in more holes to shorten my stirrups on my western saddles ! I don't think I've bought one yet that I haven't had to do this to. I'm about 5' 1", and I've always had to put at least one more set of holes in to get my stirrups the right length. There was a time when I could fit a 14" seat, but not now. So, I'll just keep punching holes and riding my 15", which is much more comfortable .
