Hi, I normally ride in an English dressage saddle, and enjoy the classical balance for posting, ear/shoulder/hip/heel. I want a synthetic Western type or endurance saddle for trail but want same balance. Many trail saddles I've seen place legs in front. Would a barrel saddle which has a deep seat (like dressage) have stirrup bars placed further back than trail saddles? Can anyone recommend a type/brand of synthetic saddle that would offer balanced ride for posting/flatwork on the trail (without achy knees and ankles!) What about Fabtron endurance? Or, should I seek only barrel or reining type saddle to get this type balance? Thanks for any insight! Debbie
